My love for travel began in the Colorado

Rockies with camping, hiking, and skiing,

and expanded into journeys across 

the U.S., from national parks to dynamic

cities. In high school I had the opportunity

to be part of the People to People

Student Ambassador Program, traveling

through Europe and staying with host families. That experience sparked a fascination with languages, a curiosity about other cultures, and an appreciation for what we have in common and what sets us apart.

 

During college I studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria, and after graduation I moved to Munich, Germany to work for a global technology company. I later earned a Master’s in International Management and spent more than a decade in telecommunications, traveling worldwide to secure film and sports rights. Over the years I married a Canadian, raised three kids, and kept exploring near and far.

 

As friends and family turned to me for their travel planning, I discovered how much I love designing itineraries tailored to each traveler. That joy led me to start iVakay, partnering with trusted specialists to craft personalized journeys with thoughtful detail. Today, I bring together deep travel experience, global connections, and careful attention to detail so you can immerse yourself in the moments, not the logistics.
